What we're looking for:
We're seeking a Senior Accountant with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field, complemented by at least 4 years of progressive accounting experience. The ideal candidate possesses a CPA or equivalent qualification, demonstrates proficiency in MS Excel and familiar accounting software, and has a deep understanding of GAAP and other financial regulations. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential, coupled with a commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and an aptitude for mentorship.
What you’ll accomplish:
- You will be responsible for month-end general ledger close in accordance with US GAAP
- You will be responsible for various general ledger accounting areas for Wonders. Includes posting journal entries, reviewing the income statement, preparing fluctuation analysis, and performing ad hoc research
- You will prepare or review GL account reconciliations such as cash, credit card, accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations
- You will lead the intercompany transactions review and reconciliation
- You will own the Treasury process including preparing the weekly cash position, monthly cash forecast, weekly transfer and bills payment report, and application of customer collections
- You will handle the corporate income and sales/use taxes by interfacing with an external public accounting firm. Review corporate and sales/use taxes calculation and ensure returns are filed and paid on time
- You will mentors less senior staff
- You will perform other accounting duties as assigned
About you:
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
- You have a CPA, CMA, or other equivalent certification is preferred
- You have advance excel level skills
- You have 4 years of combined public and corporate accounting preferred
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You have proficiency with Netsuite of similar ERP a plus
- You have the ability to pick up responsibilities quickly and work with limited direction
- You have strong organizational skills, attentive to detail, and ability to multitask

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000.
