Position Overview: 

Our Finance team is currently growing and we have an immediate opening for a Sr. Accounting Manager! In this crucial role, you will collaborate directly with our CFO and Finance Director, taking a lead role in owning financial accounting and operations, analysis, and reporting. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial records and providing insights that contribute to the financial stability and growth of our company.

In particular, you will:

  • Oversee and run financial accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.
  • Own the monthly close and reconciliation process, including reporting and financial analysis to share with leadership.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including customer billing, accounts payable, payroll, sales tax management, state/local filings, etc., and ensuring compliance with our treasury management strategy.
  • Further enhance company’s internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Run successful annual financial audits, collaborating with external auditors and managing audit processes.
  • Collaborate with external accounting firm on annual R&D study, federal and state tax returns preparation
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to generate reports that provide a comprehensive view of the company's financial performance.
  • Assist FP&A with budgeting activities, including building financial models and forecasting
  • Provide critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making processes.
  • Assist in fundraising activities, including exposure to investors

Who’s a Fit: 

  • Experienced Accountant: CPA with 5+ years of experience at a top public accounting firm and/or as an in-house accountant. Demonstrate your extensive expertise in US GAAP, showcasing proficiency in utilizing advanced financial systems and tools, as well as experience with implementing new systems. You’ll bring a wealth of experience in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, strengthening internal controls, and driving process efficiencies within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Successful financial audit experience required.

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $125,000 - $138,000 per year, plus eligibility for an additional end of year performance bonus ranging $31,000 - $35,000; Equity options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. Please note that we adjust compensation for non–US countries using a relative cost of labor adjustment between the US and your country of residence.
