As the Senior Analyst of FP&A, you will be an important contributor to the overall success of Trial Library. You will work closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure strong financial processes and tools are in place to increase revenues while keeping a keen eye on operating expenses. You will play a vital role in helping the team to make decisions about pricing, on product and deal basis. You will assume ownership of all invoicing and receipt of payments.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the financial budgeting and forecasting process
- Develop and administer company revenue cycle management, including invoicing and payment processes
- Prepare financial performance and P&L updates for senior management and Board of Directors
- Analyze and track all important financial performance metrics- profitability, margins, cash flow, cogs, operating expenses etc.
- Performing financial scenario analysis to support senior management's strategic decision making
- Perform variance analysis and identify key causes of business variances for performance measurement
- Assist in preparing proforma analyses and business cases for investments to drive revenue and EBITDA growth.
Your Qualifications
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related business major is required. An MBA is preferred but not required.
- Experience – Minimum of 4 - 7 years of financial and analytical experience, preferably in pharmaceutical clinical trials, biotech, healthcare research, or healthtech environment.
- Intellectual curiosity to solve business problems and understand root causes of business performance
- Willingness to get hands on with A/R, invoicing, revenue cycle management processes, including tracking invoices, payments, and managing questions about payments.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills and an ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills
- Strong hands-on skills in pulling data, building financial models, and evaluating financial results is a requirement
- Preferable system experience includes MS Excel, Google Sheets, NetSuite, Monday.com
