About the job Senior Android Developer at Emotional Intelligence Co. (Remote, PH-based only)
We are looking for a passionate Senior Android Developer ideally with FS / Backend experience to work for our Europe - based client. For this role, we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.
About the OTA client

Your role
- You'll bring our award winning iOS app to android and beyond
- You'll help us further develop and scale our architecture and tech stack to millions of MAU
- You'll collaborate closely with the product team (content, design, growth) to define and build features
- You are the second full-time engineer on the team supported by a rockstar UI/UX team and world-class technology advisors
About you
- You've worked on (several) mobile apps and published at least one original Android app. We believe in being progressive while pragmatic in our tech stack. You need to be proficient in Kotlin (3-5y) with ample experience in third-party libraries, APIs and remote data via REST and JSON as well as SOLID principles ++ Experience in SWIFT and GraphQL is a plus and Jetpack Compose, Hilt/Dagger 2 and Kotlin Coroutines/Flow.
- You are able to connect the dots at scale: Experience in Typescript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, GCP and Github Actions.
- You've worked on consumer (subscription) products. You understand the trade off between speed and engineering quality at scale - and are willing to borrow from the best. You ideally have experience with Headless CMSs and Lokalisation ++ For experience across web and mobile including subscription management platforms (Revenuecat)
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset. You want to be involved in the early stage cross-functional building process, understand customer needs and don't shy away from expressing your opinion and making technical decisions
