Senior Benefits Analyst

Overview
We are seeking an experienced benefits professional to administer & implement benefits programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage day-to-day plan administration and operations, RFP, communications, vendor management, compliance and programs. The ideal candidate is a proven expert who can tactically execute benefits programs and play a vital hands-on role leveraging best practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day benefits operations and programs
- Provide exceptional service and liaise directly with employees to resolve questions
- Provide vendor management ongoing support, proactively identify areas for process improvement and assist with implementation of new initiatives
- Assist in development and delivery of benefits education for the People (HR) organization, manager, executive management and/or employees
- Help support the annual benefits Open Enrollment process
- Develop & maintain process documentation for all benefit and leave programs and provide recommendations for process improvement, where appropriate.
- Coordinate with payroll, timekeeping, HRIS, finance and/or internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of data, deductions, tracking, reporting and/or process improvements
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of employee benefits information through audits and billing reconciliation liaising with AP and vendors as required
- Coordinate, keep up to date on regulations and facilitate compliance related matters including (but not limited to) completion of Form 5500s, ACA filings, 401k annual audits, Summary Annual Reports, FSA/401k non-discrimination testing etc.
- Proactively identify & drive process improvement opportunities
- Perform other Benefits/People (Total) Rewards ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of expert level administration experience of employee health and welfare benefits including self-insured plans, RFP, legislation and retirement plans
- Proven analytical, vendor & project management skills & ability to design clear processes
- Expert level 2+ year working & project execution experience with Workday HRIS
- Strong Google Workplace, Google Sheets and Excel skills (mastery of pivot tables, etc.)
- Ability to communicate, partner, collaborate, and influence across a wide spectrum of functions
- Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast pace environment and ambiguous situations with autonomy and minimal guidance
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation preferred

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$69,978.00 to $93,304.00
Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
