Senior Business Practice Specialist

We are looking for an ambitious candidate to join Aledade's growing New Ventures team as a Senior Business Practice Specialist. Reporting to the Manager, New Ventures, this individual will assist in building and scaling products and services that use Aledade’s industry-leading data set to help our partner practices improve their short term financial health and chart a long term strategy for growth. 

This will be a remote position from anywhere within the US, with the option to work from our Bethesda, MD or Durham, NC offices.

Primary Duties:

  • Conducting market research, including interviewing subject matter experts and potential customers to refine the overarching business opportunity and product hypothesis
  • Use data to identify and deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders including trends and new opportunities for improvement. Executing analysis (e.g., descriptive, predictive) to identify opportunities to improve practice financial performance
  • Manage tasks and contribute to projects, including but not limited to, tracking metrics and outcomes, providing support for the adoption of best practices and metric adherence, and developing reports to inform leaders on progress and barriers
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on TAM, unit economics, and strategic fit. Creating ad hoc analyses to support decision-making

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, health policy, or other related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably in health care strategy/operations

Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:

  • Strong quantitative and analytic modeling experience, skills, and references
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills using Google Suite products, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized and proactive in raising questions around prioritization and potential blockers to drive assigned tasks forward
  • Self-starter who is able to take initiative and ownership, with demonstrated success managing multiple projects 
  • Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high level of autonomy
  • Collaborative team player with a roll-up your sleeves mentality.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated to produce work that meets high standards

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
