Senior Business Systems Analyst

Description

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will work closely with IT Operations, Business Operations, and Product Development within Experian Partner Solutions to add value by solving business problems with an agile mindset. You will be responsible for driving detailed conversations on operational improvements, gap analysis, platform stability, and monitoring enhancements.

Experian Partner Solutions helps 300+ businesses protect their 60M+ customers by building enterprise-level (1) identity, (2) credit, and (3) data breach cybersecurity SaaS products in a white-label (B2B2C) branded format. Experian Partner Solutions and its ‘sister’ business unit Direct-to-Consumer form Experian Consumer Services, a large business segment inside the global information services company commonly known as Experian.

What you’ll be doing

• Become a functional expert in EPS platform features & capabilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate systems by conducting interviews, observation sessions, and workflow process analysis

• Be a leader of continuous improvement. Define improvements to business processes, operational processes, and monitoring

• Author end-to-end data flows and identify gaps in documentation and monitoring with a customer viewpoint

• Provide white-glove service to top clients by creating, utilizing, and reporting on data trends on a daily basis to ensure successfully service delivery and product stability

• Organize and help build a customer-centric monitoring platform for EPS

• Provide support to perform audits on monitoring tools to ensure the entire IT Enterprise is being properly monitored

• Seek new approaches to business problems utilizing existing tools/products and innovations as appropriate

• Author systems documentation and other supporting materials to detail operational and business needs

• Prepare 'as is' and 'to be' workflows, identify high-level gaps & differences

• Anticipate positive and negative impacts throughout the organization regarding proposed solutions

• Experience developing solutions and performing work using agile principles

• Communicate periodically with executive management regarding the status of current project initiatives and obtain executive guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives

• Maintain effective relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and key partners

• Contribute to the definition and development of multi-year product roadmap

• Support the definition and generation of project metrics and reporting across products and top clients

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Adept in SQL, Excel, and data tables (AWS Redshift, Python, DynamoDB experience is a plus).
  • Solid knowledge in Agile software tools (e.g. Jira) and methodologies.
  • Strong technical acumen, curiosity, and familiarity with new technologies, APIs, and databases.
  • Experience with complex direct-to-consumer products and systems.
  • Self-motivated with close attention to detail, analytical focus, and problem-solving skills who can be highly productive, both as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Experience building trusted partnerships with Product, Operations, and Technology teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with and ability to formulate and present analyses and business cases to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work well in a matrix environment.
  • Possess strong sense of judgment and demonstrate empathy of customer issues in order to navigate urgency, prioritization, and scope of investigation and resolution.
