The Sr. Content Associate, Copywriter conceptualizes and writes compelling copy while maintaining and evolving the tone and voice of Material Bank. As a part of the Member Marketing team, you'll play an important role in engaging our community of architects, interior designers, and other builders through inspirational editorial content as well as persuasive benefit- and feature- driven messaging across paid, owned, and organic media. Architecture and Interior Design Industry experience is preferred!
You will collaborate with members of the executive team, marketing leaders, product owners, graphic designers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable marketing messages.
Do you like variety? You're in luck! You'll work with a growing team of strategists, creatives, and designers to conceptualize and write copy for a variety of initiatives that persuade and inform. Projects vary and include collateral for product launch campaigns, landing pages, lifecycle communications, blogs, case studies, presentation decks, etc.

What you’ll do:
- Produce original, clear, and engaging copy for multiple B2B audiences across different platforms, including editorial, ad campaigns, email communications, and sales collateral.
- Collaborate closely with marketers, account managers, and designers to craft effective, conversion-oriented copy across all digital touchpoints.
- Effectively manage multiple production timelines simultaneously, which includes routing content for necessary approvals to ensure timely project completion
- Edit existing or provided copy for spelling, grammar, consistency, and SEO while also adjusting visual elements to complement the textual content.
- Upload finalized content into CMS or delivered to requested team
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an integrated multi-platform editorial calendar/schedule.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing
What you’ll bring:
- 8+ years of copywriting experience, with at least 5 years in B2B/D2C/B2C technology companies or in Architecture and Design
- A writing portfolio demonstrating experience and skill in long- and short-form content
- Demonstrated success in creating high-converting copy across paid media and email.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align copy initiatives with overarching business objectives
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, experienced in working with executive teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with content management systems (i.e., WordPress)
- Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and self-directed.
- Interest or experience in Architecture and Interior Design
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Writing, Advertising, Journalism or related field
- Ability to work East Coast business hours
