Senior Content Writer
Articulate is looking for an exceptional writer to join its growing content marketing team. As a Senior Writer, you’ll write outstanding copy for our owned and paid marketing channels, as well as long-form thought leadership content. You’ll bring our brand, culture, and product stories to life for our current and prospective customers and community.
The Senior Content Writer is part of a team of writers and marketers who craft product messaging used to educate, engage, convince, and inspire. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of our customers, brand, industry, and the value behind the Articulate platform and products.
The Senior Content Writer will support paid media, lifecycle marketing, product releases, sales enablement, and events with impactful copy that informs and inspires consumers to take action. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects that help grow both your writing and marketing skills. The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, a self-starter, a strong communicator, and a proactive team player.
What you'll do
- Write marketing copy for all digital marketing channels—including, but not limited to, social media, web, search, affiliate, email, and in-app messaging
- Partner with functional teams to measure content performance and iterate as needed
- Ideate and write long-form thought leadership content—including, but not limited to, reports, e-books, white papers, brochures, and blog posts
- Conduct original research on product usage and industry trends for use in content
- Track industry content trends
- Write content to support annual brand events and award promotion
- Be a go-to resource for marketing writing at Articulate
What you should have
- 5+ years experience in a B2B SaaS writer role and/or eCommerce copywriter role
- Excellent writing skills with an eagerness to learn how to write for every marketing channel
- Experience writing long-form content such as industry reports, e-books, white papers, and blog posts
- Ability to be creative and craft copy that’s human, relatable, and converts—all while adhering to brand guidelines
- Excellent time management skills, including ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently
- Exceptional proofreading and editing skills, with a deep appreciation for giving and receiving feedback
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a demonstrated can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills, oral as well as written
- Data-driven mindset with an ability to pivot
- A self-starter with a passion for research and learning
- Attention to detail and exceptional execution
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
