Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Sr. Copywriter Manager to join our Brand Creative team in either our Boston, MA or Plantation, FL office. You will be responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words for our content across all our media platforms. In this role, you’ll work ideating and writing for our tent-pole integrated marketing campaigns, brand demand campaigns, as well writing for our product and services, working directly with a Creative Director and alongside designers and Art Directors to come up with great ideas that will help Chewy to continue to be one of the strongest brands in the market

What you'll do:

Lead the writing for our Tent-pole integrated marketing campaigns, focusing on the big idea and then translate it for all channels including ecommerce, digital, social, product, packaging, product descriptions, naming and others, flexing across project types as needed

Pitch ideas for Brand Demand campaigns that will require to write scripts for video assets from upper funnel to lower funnel.

Work closely with the Copy Team as well as Art Directors, Designers, Marketing Managers, Channel Leaders and product teams to develop umbrella messaging and copy for final deliverables across campaigns, print ads, mailers, landing pages, emails, digital banners, product pages, etc.

Present creative concepts and copy to leadership and business teams, and be able to speak to how your work executes on marketing objectives

Work with a strong collaborative approach that welcomes feedback and successfully implements into your copy throughout the process

Demonstrate organized thinking with an innate ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment

Ability to hit the ground running without requiring a lot to start but asking the right questions along the way to hone your copy

Be integral in maintaining brand copy guidelines that ladder up to the Chewy brand

What you'll need:

7+ years relevant work experience with an advertising agency or in-house team

Strong experience on concept and campaign ideation as well as script writing for video

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, utilize resources, identify and meet deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, positive and innovative thinker

Highly motivated and a high level of initiative; ability to work independently, in support of Marketing’s creative goals and Chewy’s business objectives

Must exhibit a highly collaborative way of working within a creative environment and cross functional team
