On Netflix’s Product Creative Studio - Functional team, we are creative directors, creative strategists, creative producers, creative planners, data lovers, envelope pushers, and artists who partner with different teams and organizations across the company to reimagine promotional creative, through rigorous off-service and on-service testing, and identify signals for scale and productization.
The Production Planning team within the PCS Functional Team is focused on architecting, proving and enhancing promotional asset creation workflows for Product Discovery & Promotion (PDP) at large. We pair deep experience with informed curiosity to continuously challenge ours and the industry’s approach to promotional asset creation. This allows us to iteratively identify new opportunities for growth and remain responsive as the needs of the business evolve.
The Labs Production - Production Planning pod is looking for an experienced, driven, strategic Senior Creative Producer with a deep integrated creative production and project management background to lead and produce Creative Labs projects and creative work. This opportunity combines collaborating on creative strategy, project management, and large-scale team coordination in a fully autonomous environment. You hold emerging technology in high regard both for how it lends to creative excellence and also for how it can be leveraged to provide large scale production solutions. You will be part of a growing team that’s rethinking and exploring promotional creative and advertising for Netflix. The role will report to the Labs Production Manager within the Product Creative Studio, Production Planning team.
In this role you will...
- Exhibit strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and business acumen in order to bring multiple departments together to accomplish a complex objective
- Bridge the gap between business and creative -- acting as the “translator” between marketers and creatives, business objectives and creative output
- Craft and maintain project-relevant documentation: proposals, scopes of work, production schedules, budgets, cross-functional creative socialization and outlines for scaling beyond the innovation phase.
- Manage and oversee project meetings and timelines (i.e. production kick-off, weekly creative tactical, key creative reviews and milestones) related to the development of creative
- Managing both the bidding process and wrap procedures with Finance Partners
- Provide creative production oversight of asset quality and standards with cross-functional partners for all stages of technical builds, including editorial/functional quality assurance, delivery for localization
- Oversee sourcing and screening of new freelance/vendor/contract talent by and with our internal Creative Planning team
- Collaborate with the Creative Planning team to measure and track vendor/contractor performance
- Manage the relationship and work, including onboarding, of creative freelancers, vendors, agencies, and contractors
- Consistently connect the dots between people, teams, strategies, and initiatives
- Lead setting project expectations and advocating for creative excellence throughout the production pipeline
Must-Haves...
- You are a creative self-starter and problem solver who has the ability to spearhead, lead, and manage a creative project from completion to end. You are always a few steps ahead. Experience identifying risks in the project from the beginning and can create mitigation plans to prevent risks from endangering the overall production
- You have deep creative production experience (studio, agency, freelance, or in-house) and with production/post-production workflows across various creative disciplines, including motion design/animation, graphic design, audio, and video editing
- You have excellent communication (written and verbal skills) and are able to present ideas thoughtfully and articulately, whether to a room of business marketers or a room of designers
- You have an eye for creative quality (especially as it pertains to resourcing), have an expert understanding of the creative process, and support the exploration of high creative standards
- You have the ability to enable creatives and creative talent, with the simultaneous ability to strategically optimize and scale
- You are endlessly, creatively curious and are constantly asking the right questions...You know quickly what you don’t know and seek to understand
- You have a results-focused disposition and are cool and calm under pressure with excellent people skills.
- You have no hesitation in managing difficult conversations with cross-functional partners while maintaining a collaborative dynamic
- Experience navigating very different stakeholder teams (i.e. product writing and motion)
- Experience managing the relationship and work between contingent workers and Netflix teams; delegating production tasks across any given project
- Must be highly collaborative and able to maintain creative excellence in a fast-paced, ever-changing landscape
- Must be able to multitask by managing communication on several projects in varying stages of prep or production
- Must be able to easily adapt to/work with different working styles
- Must be able to clearly set expectations at every level, while strategizing internal needs, workflows and staff to ensure delivery of the best work possible.
- Must be confident with participating in creative brainstorms to generate ideas

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $150,000-$600,000.
