About the Infura Onchain Platform Team
Infura is the leading infrastructure platform providing scalable and easy-to-use APIs and cloud solutions for blockchain and decentralized application developers. Infura currently offers APIs for Ethereum, IPFS, and other leading decentralized networks, allowing developers to immediately begin building instead of spending time on architecting and maintaining their own infrastructure. Infura lowers the barrier to entry for engineers to begin building.

What you’ll do
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Infura Onchain Platform team. The successful candidate will be crucial in ensuring the performance, consistency, cost-efficiency, and overall functionality of network nodes run by Infura.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer on this team, you will assess and improve the existing DevOps infrastructure by identifying areas of improvement and implementing innovative solutions. You will develop and automate systems for managing our node infrastructure, deployment schemas, monitoring, and operational efficiencies. You will participate in an on-call rotation and respond to and recover from network outages. You will achieve operational excellence by identifying bottlenecks and driving key platform enhancements.
Would be great if you brought this to the role
- You ideally have more than 5 years of DevOps experience, preferably in managing and improving large and complex systems.
- You have experience with infrastructure as code frameworks, such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- You maintain up-to-date knowledge of DevOps best practices and developments, with experience in Helm and ArgoCD a plus.
- Infura maintains cloud based systems, so deep experience with one or more cloud providers (bonus for AWS) is preferrable.
