We're currently on the lookout for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote contract-to-hire position. Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), showcasing expertise in Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and IAM. Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management within the GCP ecosystem, along with robust coding skills, is a prerequisite.

  • GCP Expertise: Utilize a minimum of 3 years of hands-on GCP experience to contribute to scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions within a large enterprise environment.
  • Terraform Mastery: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management within the GCP ecosystem, with a focus on automating critical tasks.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Exhibit solid experience in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and workflows, seamlessly integrating them with GCP services.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with leadership and cross-functional team members.
  • Agile/Scrum Environment: Work efficiently in an Agile/Scrum development environment, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Problem-solving: Showcase demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certification: Google Cloud Platform certification (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Ansible Familiarity: Familiarity with Ansible for automated software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment is considered advantageous.

Estimated annual salary: $110,000 - $140,000
