Senior Director, HR Business Partner

As Senior Director, HR Business Partner, you will lead HR for our corporate functions including, IT, Legal, Finance, HR, Marketing and Sales Ops. This position will be the primary HR contact for most of the Executive Leadership Team and will lead a team of Human Resources Business Partners and Human Resources Generalists to provide support, education, and administration of HR programs, policies, and processes in support of business goals and objectives. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance to corporate services on utilizing human resources to meet business goals and objectives. They will strategically determine where people resources are needed to meet our business goals through organizational realignment, workforce planning, change management, engagement, diversity, leadership development and talent review and assessment. They will collaborate with global HR leaders to drive and deliver consistency in global programs. This position is a member of the Global HR Leadership Team (HRLT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the Racker Relations team to deliver strategic and operational HR support within the organization.
  • Contributes to strategic planning and execution for the Global HR organization.
  • Partners with executive leaders to analyze and prioritize the critical business challenges faced by the organization, and deploy appropriate HR interventions in collaboration with appropriate business leaders.
  • Ensures policies and practices support and promotion business strategy and objectives.
  • Defines, develops and delivers relevant HR activities that will have business impact on the attraction, motivation, engagement, development, and retention of the businesses people resources.
  • Ensures operational excellence, monitoring and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
  • Leads the Racker Relations team in response to time-sensitive events. Understands HR legal regulations, best practices, and compliance issues and creates an operational atmosphere that prioritizes and mitigates risk for the company.
  • Acts as a servant leader to aspire others to creativity, autonomy, accountability, and fanatical support.
  • Responsible for maintaining and/or operating an effective internal control environment in conformance with company compliance requirements.

  • Expert level knowledge of HR/personnel practices and principles, and all applicable labor, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations.

Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources Management, OE/OD, or a related field required.
  • Masters in Business or a related field preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources or business operations, including a minimum of 5 years of experience leading other professional resources.
  • Requires experience working strategically with executive leaders to drive change and support strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience applying HR legal and compliance regulations in broad based HR programs

$161,000 - $275,000 a year

For applicants working in California, Colorado, Washington or New York City, we are excited to share the base salary ranges for this position exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonus. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. 

• The anticipated starting pay range of California, Washington state and New York City applicants for this role is $187,500-$275,000

• The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is 

$161,000-$236,060

• These ranges for candidates may be modified in the future.

• Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time.
