Senior Director of Operations

JOB DESCRIPTION

DirectDefense is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team in the pivotal role of Senior Director of Operations. This role is foundational to the success of DirectDefense, and is responsible for the ability of the organization to grow and scale seamlessly, executing DirectDefense’s over-arching strategy.

The Senior Director, of Operations is responsible for overseeing operational efficiency in all areas of the organization, including process optimization, cost-reduction, quality and integrity of delivery, program management, contract negotiations, and support for sales strategy.

The role is responsible for all quality operations, including the Project Roadmap Process (quote to cash), sales operations, consulting operations, legal contracting, executive metrics, and any board of advisors’ or due diligence preparation and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and develop company strategy as a key member of the executive team
  • Maintain oversight and manage the strategy, operations, and personnel for critical business functions including Board Reporting, Sales Operations, Legal, Customer Satisfaction Tracking, and the PMO
  • Support all aspects of corporate M&A and due diligence activities
  • Help to identify opportunities and areas for improvement within each department of the organization
  • Work with Department Heads to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy
  • With the VP, of Consulting, ensure the quality of client deliverables meets or exceeds company standards
  • Monitor performance against organizational goals to ensure that the company is meeting goals of quality and success
  • Ensure risk is minimized and organizational standards are met throughout the legal and contract lifecycle
  • Optimize customer satisfaction through improved operations
  • Implement quality metrics to minimize costs and enhance efficiency
  • Act as executive sponsor on critical customer accounts
  • On occasion, support scoping and delivery for strategic projects in the company’s top accounts

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in operations and management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Relevant start-up and industry experience
  • Proven track record in the management of company operations, finance, and quality assurance
  • Exemplary command of the English language, both oral and written

Education Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree; MBA or Master’s degree with Technology or Business focus preferred

Salary range$120,000 - $180,000

Bonus: Up to 10% Annual Bonus

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, DirectDefense provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year with an annual bonus.
