Position Overview:
As a Senior Front-End Software Developer, you will lead the front-end development efforts of our Security Services Platform, ThreatAdvisor, utilizing your expertise in React and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces, ensuring an exceptional user experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Front-End Development:
- Lead the design and implementation of front-end components using React and TypeScript, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with back-end developers, security experts, and QA engineers to deliver cohesive and integrated software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
- Innovation and Best Practices:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions.
- Implement best practices for front-end development, including code documentation, testing, and version control.
- Problem Solving:
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Front-End Software Developer with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
- Experience in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Full stack web development experience (5+ years), including C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience working in a self-hosted environment (especially Docker, vCenter / Windows Domain)
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of Secure Coding Principles
Nice to have:
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience with Cypress testing framework
- Experience with Cube.js and GraphQL
- Experience with Kafka

Salary range:$140,000 - $160,000
Work schedule: Monday through Friday

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, DirectDefense provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $1400000 - $160,000 per year with a bonus package.
