What's so hard about hiring people in multiple locations anyway?

Each country, state, and municipality has its own employment requirements that need to be maintained on an ongoing basis. Those requirements span HR, tax, accounting, and legal which is complicated and requires deep expertise. As a result, keeping up with the differences and the sheer volume of obligations makes hiring people in many locations expensive and painful.

You will

  • Create elegant and responsive web pages that work seamlessly across a range of browsers and devices
  • Maintain and extend our blog and content management systems, ensuring they are user-friendly, scalable, and efficient
  • Build integrations to enhance and expand marketing and mini app functionality
  • Optimize conversions by analyzing user behavior and implementing data-driven adjustments to improve user engagement and conversion rates
  • Design and execute experiments to test new features, layouts, and functionalities that could enhance the user experience and drive business outcomes
  • Develop high-converting landing pages that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand’s voice and objectives

We're looking for someone with

  • 5+ years of experience building web and mobile-optimized websites with a strong emphasis on performance and responsiveness
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS, and experience implementing complex layouts with a high degree of fidelity to designs
  • A high degree of comfort with JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience with a modern JS application framework (React/Flux, Ember, Angular, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Experience with source version control; Git is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Linux, macOS, or another Unix-like operating system, and comfort working in the terminal

  • The compensation range for this position is between $150,000 and $195,000 (plus equity) depending on experience.
