YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Frontend Engineer of the Canvas Core Team you will help grow our product by developing features that power our visual collaboration app.

You would join a multi-functional team of fellow Frontend engineers, Designers, and Product Managers and help us build delightful customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Collaborate very closely with Product and Design folks to shape the future of Mural’s web app.

Build new features for our web product, while ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our apps

Work in a highly collaborative team where pair programming is encouraged and code reviews are considered one of the most important things you can do for the team and for our product

Have a strong quality mindset, and mentor the team into improving our testing strategy and practices

Lead and own the development of complex new features participating in every step of its lifecycle, starting at the definition phase and ending with the rollout to production

Help the team grow by bringing new ideas, having an open mind, and being a problem solver

Be part of tech designs and talks, be a mentor and/or a mentee, helping level up others around you

Skills & Required Experience

4+ years of experience working in a product company, and as a product engineer you know how to interpret requirements and how to contribute to a backlog refinement.

Experience with Javascript and Typescript, having built and maintained big React applications. You have a good grasp of architectural principles and design patterns.

You have experience with testing in the frontend and testing strategies, and you can’t consider your work as done until you have assured its quality and reliability.

You feel comfortable talking and writing in English, particularly in a technical setting

In the state of Colorado, the salary for this role ranges from $122.200 to $168,000 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

In the state of California and Washington, the salary for this role ranges from $137.,400 to $189.000 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your city of residence, qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

In New York City and San Francisco Bay Area, the salary for this role ranges from $152,700 to $210,000 + equity + benefits, but may vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level, that could result in a level outside of this range.

Job level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
