Senior Frontend Engineer
Viridios AI is at the forefront of solutions for the climate and sustainability markets. We have developed AI-based fair valuation and risk management models that solves a major problem in value transparency and is quickly becoming the market reference for fair prices of carbon credits (offsets), from forestry and agriculture to renewable energy and energy efficiency activities worldwide.
We are seeking a highly motivated Frontend Engineer to contribute to the evolution of our platform. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including back-end engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers, to deliver seamless and responsive user experiences. This is your opportunity to grow into and contribute to some of the most prominent and important themes of our age: climate, sustainability and AI.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with UX designers to develop dynamic UI experiences
- Integrate front end components with a evolving microservice architecture
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability of shipped code
- Collaborate with other team members to incrementally deliver value to customers
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
- 2+ years of experience shipping and maintaining professional web applications
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, ReactJS, TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience in building API integrations
- Experience using Git in a collaborative environment
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Experience with React Native and mobile app development
- Understanding of Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban
