Job Purpose
As the Senior Graphic Designer at Furnished Quarters, you will not just be a part of our team but a key driver of our brand identity. Your primary role is to lead and manage the visual presentation of all public and internally facing marketing materials, spearheading the evolution and enforcement of brand guidelines across departments. You will play a pivotal role in driving new visual creative directions for marketing campaigns and company initiatives. Your expertise will extend to coaching and nurturing the professional development of in-house graphic designers, freelancers, and interns as needed, fostering their creative skills and initiative. Your advanced design skills will contribute tangible creativity to elevate Furnished Quarters' brand identity and overall success in the market.
Essential Functions
Brand Standards and Design Leadership
- Evolve and uphold brand guidelines, ensuring strict adherence across all departments.
- Maintain consistent representation of the brand in the market.
- Apply advanced design skills to create visually compelling marketing materials and internal presentations.
- Infuse creativity into all facets of Furnished Quarters' branding and communication.
- Develop cutting-edge UX designs for all technology products, including client-facing websites and applications.
- Lead advanced design projects, collaborating with leadership, marketing, technology, sales, and human resources.
Team Development and Mentoring
- Embody and champion Furnished Quarters' core values, mission, and vision in all interactions with guests, vendors, and colleagues, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Manage and guide a creative team of graphic designers, freelancers, and interns, nurturing their creative skills and professional growth, encouraging a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Provide time management and direction for direct reports to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Conduct bi-monthly one-on-one reviews and staff development meetings.

- Must meet or exceed established KPI metrics, demonstrating a results-driven approach and a commitment to the company's marketing objectives:
- On-time project delivery success rate of 90% or higher.
- Creative quality score of ‘Meets’ or better.
- Communication quality score of ‘Meets’ or better.
- Management effectiveness score of ‘Meets’ or better.
- New skills acquisition score of ‘Meets’ or better.
- Stakeholder satisfaction score of ‘Meets’ or better.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proficient in user-centric UX design for technology products, including client-facing websites and applications.
• Thorough understanding of brand guidelines and ensuring brand consistency across departments.
• Advanced design skills, creating visually compelling marketing materials and presentations.
• Strong ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with agency partners, vendors, freelancers, and in-house teams.
• Proven experience in coaching and guiding the professional development of graphic designers.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum seven years of graphic design experience with a solid creative portfolio.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD or similar, and InDesign).
• Experience with InVision for design projects preferred.
• Website, UX, and social media design experience is a must.
• Proficiency in HTML, HTML5, and CSS, focusing on responsive and multi-device design and development.
• Team player with management experience, overseeing direct reports/team members.
