Senior Helpdesk Technician
Description
Broadlume is looking for a well-rounded Senior Helpdesk Technician. On the job, you will take ownership of our internal helpdesk ensuring best possible service for our internal customers. You will work closely with the engineering teams and third party vendors to identify, document, and resolve a wide range of end user issues and continuously improve service provided. You’ll be welcomed as a key collaborator on our remote-first engineering team, and have the opportunity to contribute to the shape of the culture and practices of the Broadlume organization.
In this role, you will gather knowledge, creating knowledge-base articles and working with DevOps, Configuration Management and other technical teams for best-in-class solutions for our internal, and sometimes external user-facing features.
**This is a full time, remote position**
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Making recommendations to improve operational efficiency
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Monitoring and developing feedback reports for management
- Leading escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Communicating with clients (internal employees) and providing zoom and phone support, if required. Support provided may be outside of normal business hours
- Provision, configure, and track shipments of new computers, in conjunction with HR onboarding and offboarding
- Manage Current inventory assets
Requirements
WHO YOU ARE
- 3+ years of helpdesk experience
- Familiarity with MacOS & Windows
- Familiarity with SSO (AD, JumpCloud) user/group management
- You have excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- You have a document-everything attitude
- You are comfortable creating metrics and reports
