Our HR team is growing, and we are hiring for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team! In this role you will utilize your expertise in HR to provide guidance, support in all things people and culture at Zensurance.
Reporting to the VP of People & Culture, the Senior HRBP will leverage their significant human resources knowledge to guide the human resources team and the business on all human resources matters. With a keen focus on the design, development and implementation of company-wide and/or department human resources programs, practices and processes to support the business and/or the human resources strategic objectives.
In this role you will be responsible for managing, coaching and developing HR best practices across the entire People Team and other business units. You will collaborate with managers and individual contributors throughout Zensurance to provide solutions and strategies to further Zensurance’s business results.
Responsibilities:
- Support the human resources business team with its strategic objectives and ensure all tasks, targets, processes and procedures are completed.
- Onboard, train, coach, develop team members in a broad range of human resources knowledge, policies, process, strategies and legal considerations associated with the entire employee life cycle.
- Work closely with the VP of People & Culture in the development, design, implementation, maintenance and administration of human resources processes, policies, programs and projects.
- Work as an HR Business Partner and actively build strong relations with employees and managers to provide coaching, feedback, advice, administration and consultation on low to high complex human resources matters and employment related issues.
- Ensure that established policies and processes are followed by all employees and take initiative to develop solutions for improvement where gaps are identified either within a group or department to enhance employee experience and mitigate risk.
- Develop, design and facilitate training materials/presentations to communicate to the business units and employees on human resources activities, processes, procedures and programs.
- Create, analyze and interpret human resources analytics and metrics to support human resources and talent management strategies and communicate the data/results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the talent acquisition team to assist with all aspects of job openings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Human Resources experience.
- Project management experience or leading a team is an asset.
- Subject matter expertise in employment law, ESA and Human Rights policies across multiple provinces.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, designing, creating, auditing, implementing, communicating and maintaining internal human resources policies and processes.
- Deep understanding in talent management, employee lifecycle, organizational culture, performance reviews, and disciplinary action.
- Subject matter expertise on a variety of presentation methods.
- Organizational and prioritization skills to adopt to projects and day to day tasks.
