Senior iOS Developer

We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to work with Wonolo’s Supply team. You will be employed by a third-party legal entity authorized to do business in the location in which you reside and you will provide contractual services to Wonolo’s Supply team. You will help take our mobile app to the next level and make Wonolo indisputably the best experience in the category through high-quality mobile user experiences. You will be part of a team that is in charge of our end-user experience which is the main touchpoint of the worker community. This is a great opportunity to work on large-scale products and lead key architectural initiatives. You will be a big driver in delivering a world-class customer experience.
This team consists of native iOS/Android and backend engineers to have full control of the experience. You will have visibility to all aspects of product development, and collaborate closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to push new features that will improve the experience of hundreds of thousands of people looking for jobs on our platform. What you'll do:
- Build new features from scratch
- Write clean, maintainable code while iterating and shipping rapidly
- Identify, work on, and solve complex challenges
- Collaborate across functions to transform our user pain points and business needs into intuitive experiences
- Champion engineering excellence with a sense of urgency
- Mentor and collaborate with remote team members through code reviews and pairing
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience building consumer iOS applications in Swift with a large user base
- Deep understanding of the iOS lifecycle and Apple APIs
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
- Experience working in every step of the mobile development process: development, debugging, and deployment
- Strong knowledge of iOS architecture patterns
- You have solid communication skills and are excited about collaborating with the backend teams, Product Managers, and Designers
- You stay on top of emerging technologies and best practices
- You can articulate technical trade-offs of different approaches, know-how and when to deviate from established best practices, and can admit when you're wrong
- You have the desire to grow, mentor, and learn from your fellow developers regardless of level
- You demonstrate a substantial commitment to representation and inclusion
