What you will do-

The Senior Lead Data Architect will be responsible for developing analytics needs within the Joint Replacement for Supply Planning and Integrated Business Planning. You will work with a cross functional team to identify needs and develop sustainable analytics solutions to help the business operate smoothly. It is imperative they can clearly translate data into digestible reports and dashboards to engage internal clients and strategically drive actionable insights and recommendations. Your responsibilities include understanding business needs, translating requests into technical requirements, iterating over design, developing clear documents and reports, managing the prioritization of projects, and monitoring usage of the various analytics tools to gage overall value and identify opportunities. You must possess an understanding of measurement standardization and insight generation, use of business intelligence tools, such as SQL, Power BI, Excel, SAP and project management acumen. You will be highly engaged, organized, initiative-taker with strong analytic and technical skills. You will demonstrate the ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy, and initiative.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather business requirements for analytics tools, ensuring key objectives are identified
  • Build Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements & educate stakeholders on use of tools to drive insights and decisions
  • Manage data flows through various ERP systems to ensure data is updated regularly and all stakeholders have access to needed information
  • Responsible for collecting, processing and performing analysis on large data sets to present insights to stakeholders in an easily understandable way
  • Investigate reporting issues from supported business unit and provide technical expertise to resolve and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities to ensure the data integrity of new/existing reporting
  • Lead the prioritization of projects/tasks to ensure proper tracking and delivery of requests
  • Leader in development of analytics tools for system integrations

What you need-

  • Bachelor’s degree -required
  • 8 years in a reporting or analytics role -required
  • IT Planning system experience to include use of SAP as a minimum requirement or equivalent ERP systems “preferred”
  • Experience in using SQL and PowerBI -required
  • Experience in Microsoft office applications specifically PowerPoint and excellent skills in MS Excel -required
  • Experience in an analytics practice within consulting or company analytics practice “preferred”
  • Travel Percentage: 20%

$95,100 – $204,000 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
