Why we're hiring for this role:
We are seeking an eager and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to add to our leadership team and own all of our legal functions, process and strategy. This is a mission critical highly cross functional and visible role that reports directly into our Co-Founder and CEO.
This is what you'll do:
- Support Rad AI’s commercial growth by leading contract reviews, contact negotiations, and serving as the main legal contract for the team
- Develop and negotiate agreements, including complex SaaS and software licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements and business associate agreements
- Confer with internal stakeholders on relevant terms and understand when and how to escalate when needed
- Collaborate regularly with cross-functional and management teams to gain internal insights, identify and evaluate risk, support transactions, and provide clear, business-oriented legal advice
- Provide assistance to the CEO and company leadership and collaborate with outside counsel on other legal and compliance matters as needed
- Help build the overall legal operations and integrate strategic goals with company policies
This is what you'll need:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- 5 + years of experience either in house or at a legal practice with strong experience in the drafting and negotiation of technology contracts, excellent judgment, and ability to balance legal risks with business strategy
- Ability to thrive independently and manage your own time and workload in a fast-paced environment, and can handle ambiguity and shifting priorities with flexibility and patience
This would be nice to have:
- Prior healthcare experience, data privacy experience
$150,000 - $190,000 a year
This is an estimated salary range that is dependent on the candidate and their experience. Not included in this range is a potential bonus as well as generous equity options.
