​​About the Role:

Seeking a talented and dedicated Backend Looker Developer to join our team as we expand our data analytics capabilities. As a Backend Looker Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining reliable and insightful Looker Explores and Dashboards tailored to our specific needs. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our data reporting capabilities and ensuring a seamless user experience.

You Will Have:

  • 2+ years of solid experience in Looker development, including designing and building complex explores and reports
  • Proficiency in LookML and a deep understanding of Looker's data modeling concepts
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing principles
  • Experience in implementing data security measures and access controls within Looker
  • Familiarity with optimizing Looker performance through persistent derived tables and caching strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience training and mentoring team members on Looker and LookML development
  • Experience with Looker API automation tools (e.g., Spectacles, Henry, Looker SDK)

At a Minimum You Have:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Business intelligence preferably Looker
  • 3-5 years of SQL experience with knowledge of DBT 
  • Expert working with Github
  • Strong experience in data engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization and BI in Looker or Tableau
  • Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and an ability to lead a team and operate autonomously
  • Ability to explain technical analyses to non-technical audiences

A Big Plus If You Have:

  • Extensive experience working with Data Engineering
  • Model development and training (Predictive Modeling)
  • DBT, airflow, and Databricks experience 
  • Built and created customer analytics teams in the past

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role. 

H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.

An estimate of the current salary range for US-based employees is

$125,000—$155,000 USD
