Senior Motion Graphics Artist

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Motion Graphics Artist to bring our game interfaces to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic vision, excellent technical skills, and a passion for storytelling through motion graphics. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of artists, designers, and developers to create visually stunning and engaging experiences for our players. 

You will be joining the studio at a pivotal time, as we develop systems, evolve gameplay, and develop the narrative on our ambitious and ground-breaking open-world game. The role brings the opportunity of making a significant personal contribution to a high-profile project. 

Responsibilities 

  • Design and create high-quality motion graphics for in-game UI and menus. 
  • Collaborate with the art and design teams to ensure consistency and quality across all visual elements. 
  • Animate 2D and 3D elements to enhance gameplay, narrative sequences, and user interfaces. 
  • Optimize motion graphics for performance and maintainability within the game engine. 
  • Collaborate with the production team to manage deliverables, ensuring they meet the defined scheduling objectives. 
  • Promote a culture of collaborative innovation. 
  • Stay up to date on the capabilities and workflows in Unreal Engine and other authoring tools as provided and used by the company. 
  • Ensure your art assets conform to the defined technical and artistic requirements. 

Requirements 

  • A strong understanding of art and design fundamentals. 
  • A strong understanding of Unreal motion graphics. 
  • Experience with current 3D modelling tools such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D or equivalent. 
  • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Suite and common motion graphics design software.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully work across multiple teams. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Strong English skills, both written and verbal. 
  • A positive collaborative and professional working attitude. 
  • Extensive experience in AAA motion graphic asset creation.
