Senior Operations Manager
About the role
Outsourced Doers is hiring our first Senior Operations Manager for the US. Due to our continued growth we are looking for a strategic and agile Manager who will be responsible for managing and leading the PST-scheduled day to day Operational-based teams working out of the Philippines here at Outsourced Doers.
Reporting into the Director of Operations, this role is largely two-fold, the first part of this role will dive deep into processes and improve efficiency + accuracy by using lean principles, and improve transparency through improvements in reporting. The other part of this role is pivotal in driving outstanding “Doer Performance Management” to ensure that our Doers, aka Virtual Assistants are working as optimally as possible, to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set performance indicators for direct and indirect reports and measure against performance.
- Development and deployment of strategic initiatives each quarter to improve Doer productivity, quality, tenure, and remove inefficient processes
- Development, deployment and continual refinement of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for Doers.
- Prepare, review and monitor functional financial budgets and authority levels
- Be a role model for effective and positive leadership which is ethical, results driven and future-oriented
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or any related field experience
- 10+ years proven work experience as a Senior Operations Manager/Head of Operations or similar role
- Effective leadership and analytical skills including working knowledge of financial statement analysis, staffing models, scheduling and training programs
- Experience managing a team and reporting to Executive team
- Demonstrated experience leading offshore teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a large, national or global BPO environment
- Be able to influence at all levels, including stakeholders with positional authority
- Certifications or experience in Change Management (ADKAR) or Project Management (PRINCE2)
