What we’re looking for
Embark on a galactic quest with Massive Rocket as our Operations specialist plays a critical role in supporting the company’s daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows, and driving continuous improvement of operations across the business.
Operations specialist executes, coordinates and manages the company’s internal processes, participates in designing new processes in the areas needing improvement.
Operation specialist utilizes data analysis, project management methodologies, and industry best practices to suggest new solutions to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance overall efficiency; works closely with different teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational goals.
Operations specialist plays the role of a first point of contact for the team for general HR-related questions, inquiries about travels, team events, benefits, time-off requests, and company processes and policies. Operations Specialist provides necessary information and directs team members to the appropriate resources.
Experience
- Experience in business operations 6+ years
- Experience in working with remote teams
- Experience working in a services organisation or agency (150-300 people ideal)
- Experience in processing/managing processes related to Team Happiness (HR) is a plus
Responsibilities
Project Management: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and the ability to manage projects, schedules, and resources effectively.
Process Improvement and Analysis: Analytical skills to identify inefficiencies, research solutions, and suggest process improvements. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies can be a plus.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Proficiency in using spreadsheets (Google Sheets) data visualization tools, and generating reports to communicate insights and trends.
Organization and Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Communication (written and verbal): The ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments and with clients using professional business communication. Customer service skills.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and maintain efficient operations.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and suggest effective solutions.
Initiative and Proactiveness: Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to suggest solutions
