Senior Partner Marketing Manager
Description
As our Senior Partner Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing our Channel Marketing Strategy, driving partner recruitment, enablement and expansion with distributors, resellers/MSPs and corporate partners. You will work closely with our Marketing and Channel Sales teams to develop and deliver world-class marketing campaigns in an often complex marketplace.
You must be data driven and have a strong understanding of all core digital marketing channels. In-depth knowledge of the channel landscape and how to market SaaS technology both 'through partners' and 'to partners' is a must.
Working closely with the Marketing Director, you will determine the appropriate partner programs, infrastructure requirements and initiatives required to meet the business objectives.
Requirements
Key Tasks / Responsibilities
- Define and develop the Channel Marketing Strategy, leveraging market insights and data analytics
- Develop account-specific marketing plans and provide consultative marketing support to key accounts
- Manage channel marketing budget
- Ownership of MDF program and processes
- Responsible for the creation, management and reporting of channel campaigns in Salesforce
- Full ownership over all Partner collateral and communications, to ensure alignment with our brand guidelines and value proposition
- Run highly effective recruitment and lead nurturing programs to recruit new partners
- Plan effective communications to engage with 'long tail' and 'dormant' partner accounts for revenue expansion
- Manage and monitor all co-branded marketing to ensure brand consistency
- Adapt end user content and assets to support partners with their go to market strategies and drive demand
- Collaborate with our Partner Sales team to develop and implement incentives and promotional programs
- Plan and negotiate partner launch marketing campaigns for new partnerships, new products and programs
- Plan and deliver a yearly partner marketing activity plan, including digital campaigns, events, content, PR and promotions.
- Monitoring and reporting on campaign performance, using insights to optimise future campaigns
- Work closely with the Marketing Director and CGO to bring market insights and partner objectives inline with the wider marketing strategy
Skills, experience and competencies
- 10+ years experience within Channel/Partner Marketing
- Experience in campaign execution from end to end
- Knowledge in general marketing skills, ideally a T-shaped marketer
- Be results driven and commercially minded
- Highly creative, not afraid to go where others won’t
- Strong project management, critical and analytical thinking skills
- Experience of planning and delivering creative, demand generation campaigns
- Confident and engaging personality to build relationships with the Partners sales and marketing teams
- Experience working with Marketing Automation tools and Salesforce.com is highly desirable
- Excellent copywriting and editing experience
- Analytics-driven, you love understanding data, patterns and trends and using them to guide your decisions
- Work well in a fast-paced team environment while having a focus on quality, and good attention to detail
