Senior Pricing & Packaging Manager

Calabrio is looking for a Senior Pricing & Packaging Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to our Senior Product Manager, Platform, this person will play a lead role in developing and executing pricing strategies for new and existing products and services, designing and implementing new packaging options, and evaluating pricing performance over time to optimize monetization. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, technology, finance, revenue, and executive leaders to drive revenue growth and market share across our various product offerings within the marketplace.  

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for existing products that maximize revenue and profitability across multiple product lines and market segments 
  • Collaborate with product managers and owners across product lines to explore innovative and practical pricing and packaging recommendations for new products, enhancements, and roadmap candidates where necessary 
  • Design, recommend, and achieve alignment across cross-functional teams to implement new packaging options for our products and services that resonate with target audiences and meet market demands 
  • Partner with sales and product marketing teams to develop pricing and packaging messaging and collateral that effectively communicates value propositions to prospects and customers 
  • Develop and manage real-time discount recommendation tooling in the CRM for use by the Revenue teams 
  • Analyze market trends and corresponding value-based price strategies to understand competitive threats and opportunities to refine approaches for value capture 
  • Identify pricing opportunities and implement pricing as a strategic lever with keen understanding of marketplace, transactional, and solution value-based sources of pricing power 
  • Ensure that pricing initiatives have a clear business case and are prioritized on a quarterly basis by owning and effectively managing the pricing and packaging initiatives backlog 
  • Work with finance teams to develop financial models that evaluate product margins and the impact of pricing changes and provide recommendations to leadership 

We’re looking for: 

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects at once 
  • A change agent; able to influence senior leadership in the development and implementation of pricing strategies on a global scale 
  • Results and solutions oriented, able to creatively problem solve  
  • Sharp analytical skills, comfortable withing with quantitative and qualitative analyses, financial modeling, pricing studies and pricing research  
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to confidently interface with Executive Leadership  
  • Collaborative team member, able to effectively work in a cross-functional environment 
  • Knowledge and experience within the Contact Center ecosystem, highly preferred  
  • MBA, preferred  

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in Pricing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Consulting and /or Corporate Strategy focused on B2B SaaS products  
  • 3+ years’ experience building pricing models, tools, and processes  
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and product pricing strategies 
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience
