Senior Process Improvement Analyst

Overview:

This position is to lead analysis of operational efficiencies, provide recommendations for change, lead change execution and manage monitoring of processes across business units. This function focuses on enterprise or cross-BU process improvement projects. Provide expertise and leadership to senior partners (typically SVP/VP level) in implementing strategic process improvements across business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple, complex, high-visibility process improvement projects and generate productivity increases and cost savings for reinvestment in business
  • Generate process improvement ideas, develop and prioritize improvement projects using appropriate balance of quantitative analysis, creative problem-solving and sound judgment; ensures alignment with company strategic objectives and BU objectives
  • Lead in design and delivery of Lean Six Sigma training programs (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Lean Leader), determine tools & methodology used in the training programs and mentor candidates to successful project completion; ensures candidate projects have appropriate senior sponsorship & ensures effective communications with senior sponsors
  • Lead development of comprehensive change management strategies relative to process improvement projects and act as a change agent with key partners (at SVP & VP level) in operations and related functions
  • Provide senior business partners with support for operational business requests as needed; effectively lead others in cross-functional teams to deliver on project objectives
  • Evaluate, measure and monitor the effectiveness of improvements post implementation and make appropriate future enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience using and applying process improvement best practices/techniques
  • Lean Six Sigma and project management skills in a structured project environment
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (green belt required; black belt preferred) with related work experience; PMP a plus
  • Ability to work with little or no direction in environments resistant to change or unable to change quickly and demonstrated ability to effectively influence senior stakeholders and drive successful change in those environments
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and communicate appropriately to all levels in the organization through verbal and written methods; influences at SVP & VP level
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Visio (or other flowcharting applications (process automation expertise a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to teach and coach others in Lean Six Sigma techniques
  • Experience in healthcare and/or software industries a plus
  • Ability to establish relationships, collaborate and work effectively remote
