CRIO (Clinical Research IO) is a health tech company helping pharma, biotech, research sites, and academic research centers streamline regulatory workflows with one system and a single source of clinical data capture. Our modules allow sites to capture data electronically in real-time, providing data managers and monitors with enhanced transparency, and enabling remote monitoring by sponsors and CROs.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Designer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design of intuitive and impactful user experiences central to our mission of modernizing clinical research. As a Senior Product Designer at CRIO, you will drive the design strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape the future of our products. You will ensure that our products meet user needs and contribute to the success of clinical trials. You thrive in a collaborative team environment, enjoy getting to know your team on a personal level, and love finding ways to have fun while doing your job!

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant design discipline (e.g., Interaction Design, HCI, User Experience Design), certification from a credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Product Design experience developing user experiences and interface designs.
- Proven track record of leading the design of entire features or products from conception to launch.
- Expertise in UX Design: wireframing, user journeys, interaction design, and prototyping.
- Expertise in UI Design: branding, visual design, layouts, high-fidelity mockups, and design systems.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding junior designers.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in web experiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively both synchronously and asynchronously.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead design projects in a team environment.
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure
- Collaborative, flexible, and positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Experience conducting real-time whiteboarding ideation sessions and design sprints.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively communicate with developers.
- Experience in user research and usability testing.
- Ability to drive strategic design discussions and influence product direction.

Annual Salary: $115K + Annual Performance Bonus
