We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team here at FloatMe. You will focus on working on our mobile app and be part of a team to lead the full product design process from research to final asset hand off. You will Work with Product Managers, Technology team members and different stakeholders in an Agile environment to determine strategy and ensure execution of designs. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. Responsibilities

  • Implement all design stages, from initial research to final hand-off of assets by reviewing competitive analysis and user surveys, conducting market research, usability testing, and applying analytics to design decisions.
  • Work in an Agile environment, ensuring digital platforms improve our customers’ experience.
  • Develop product strategy including: feature definition, user flows, wire-framing, prototype creation and IA/Site Maps.
  • Create final high fidelity mock-ups based on an existing style guide, with an ability to create new, on brand, visual patterns. Receive and implement feedback given, with the ability to also give design feedback to peers.
  • Ownership of the design system. Accountability for creating all components, making additions as needed, keeping it updated and ensuring it adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure completion of team's tasks with on time delivery.
  • Partner with Mobile Engineers to ensure design system changes are reflected throughout the app.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
  • Six years of experience in UI/UX design for multiple platforms (preferably mobile) at least three of those years in UX research
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Experience in working at a fast paced environment,
  • Experience with copy writing, human-computer interaction, Interaction Design or related field
  • Proficiency in the product design process, from research, to user experience design, to visual design
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Flutter and the impact of these languages on design feasibility
  • Proficient in design software like Figma
  • Worked in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with Product Managers
  • Experience working with mobile apps
  • Strong portfolio of design projects. Portfolio link required
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Salary: $129,000-$161,000 (dependent on experience)
