As a Senior Product Designer at Gogolook, you will participate in early-stage product discovery and demonstrate your creative problem-solving skills within a team. 

You will be a key contributor in assisting the Whoscall team to understand users’ needs, market demands, user behavior, user data…etc, and propose corresponding solutions in a user-centric manner for overseas markets, as well as conducting market validation and confirmation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the early-stage products/features in overseas (TH, MY, PH) discovery process, to understand users’ needs, pain points, markets, competitors…etc
  • Having a creative mindset and using any design method to get a problem-solution fit.
  • Working in a data-driven, user-centered, and creative environment.
  • Sustain fundamental user experience for Whoscall App.
  • Plan, and conduct user experience research, and find solutions from valuable insights and impact on the products.
  • Conduct user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and basic visual mockups to effectively communicate and poc (proof of concept) overseas.
  • Collaborate closely with oversea PMs, researchers, marketers…etc.
  • Hand over the fully validated concept to the operation team.

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in product design or UX design.
  • A strong design portfolio with case studies demonstrating your decision-making, design iterating process, user research report data mindset…etc
  • Basic experience with quantitative research and qualitative research (e.g. user interview, focus group, user behavior cross-analysis, usability testing, metrics, A/B testing…etc)
  • Understand each poc (proof of concept) methodology, and knowledge to apply the right methodology at the right time. (inc. user research, usability test, concept testing...etc)
  • Familiar with any wireframe, prototyping, and visual mockup tools.
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication in the oversea team and being a team player.
  • Short-term business trips are required to conduct concept validation in the local area.

Preferred requirements

  • Experience in designing a current product in multiple new markets.
  • Experience in designing with data (data-driven).
  • Experience in Design Thinking or Google Design Sprint.
  • Experience in quantitative research or qualitative research. (individual user interview, user behavior cross-analysis, usability testing, metrics, A/B testing…etc)
  • Experience in App (incl. iOS, Android) products.
  • Experience in cross-cultural App design and research.
  • Experience in exploring new markets.
