Tread is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team as we execute on our vision to Accelerate global construction. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be at the forefront of our product design practice, leading the end-to-end design process of our cutting-edge digital products for the construction materials handling industry. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of product managers, engineers, customer success professionals, and sales experts, to create elegant, intuitive, and user-centric experiences across web and mobile. With your design skills and creativity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product and company, while making a meaningful impact on the companies and contractors that rely on Tread daily to run their operations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 7+ years of experience as a digital product designer.
- Strong design portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms, with an understanding of the technical constraints of each.
- Experience with user research, design sprint facilitation, usability testing, and user feedback analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience identifying talent and helping to build fast-moving and effective teams.

YOU WILL
- Design, prototype, and implement features for our web and mobile productsOwn the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final product delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, customer success, support, and sales, to identify user needs and translate them into design solutions.
- Interface with different departments within the company to ensure product design aligns with business goals and user needs.
- Define and implement design systems, pattern libraries, and other design tools to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and user feedback analysis to inform design decisions.
- Mentor and coach junior designers, providing feedback and guidance on design best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into your design process.
- Help Tread accelerate its user-centric design craft.
