About the team

While the core product team at VEED looks after the different areas of our product, Growth at VEED champions different parts of our users’ journey that span across all parts of the product. You will work closely with other growth & core product teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders to drive massive impact for VEED.

About the role

You’ll join as a Senior Product Designer for Growth within VEED.

You will oversee initiatives that drive customer acquisition, user activation, and lead to revenue growth. You’ll work within cross-functional teams, with Product Managers, Engineers and Growth Marketers. Some of the initiatives that you will take part in include optimizing our user onboarding journey, building new micro apps and landing pages, shaping a referral programme, running experiments to optimize conversion metrics across different flows. 

We’re looking for someone who can strategically contribute to our user growth domain as an end-to-end product designer. 

You’ll be responsible for working through design problems from beginning to end, gathering multiple perspectives, translating insights from data and research into design solutions. Product designers at VEED take responsibility every step of the way, from problem solving through to detailed UI and visual design, working closely with engineers and product managers to build, iterate and ship ideas. 

What you will do

  • Own product design across our Growth domain. 
  • Lead end-to-end product design from ideation and co-creation, to problem framing and implementation, including prototyping, user testing and visual design.
  • Spearhead research initiatives of different kinds (exploratory work, usability testing, etc).
  • Operate across user funnels to evaluate and design a holistic user experience. 
  • Test ideas and run experiments that grow key metrics across our user journeys.
  • Drive decisions based on data and research. Take into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific platform demands to produce data-informed solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including growth and core product teams across the entire product development lifecycle.
  • Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, understanding when deeper exploration is warranted and when it is best to change paths and try another approach.

About you

You're excited about Growth design. Ideally, you bring experience from an acquisition, activation or growth domain, where you have worked extensively on experimentation and hypothesis-driven product development.

You have a proven track record in product design and have solved tough challenges of optimizing for the business requirements, while keeping user needs in mind. 

You're a team player. You love to collaborate with your cross-functional peers to shape and ship new ideas and concepts to millions of users.

You are curious and have a growth mindset. You are looking for new ideas, open to feedback and happy to improve things along the way.

You are proactive. You are comfortable looking at data, proposing and conducting research and coming up with new ideas that can drive growth.

You have the communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts. Also instrumental is the ability to speak confidently to your own design work and convince others of your reasoning.

You are a talented designer, with the ability to think big as well as the passion and persistence to polish the details.
