Senior Product Manager
Coder is on a mission to build enterprise software that makes developers’ lives easier and keeps them in flow. As a Senior Product Manager at Coder, you will lead major features and initiatives by leveraging a deep understanding of our customer’s pain points, use cases, and user journeys. In our work environment, there will be little abstraction between you, our community, and our decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our customers and community via video calls, support tickets, and (virtual) technical advisory councils to understand their use cases and challenges with Coder products and features
- Serve as the product lead by writing product requirements, creating basic UX mockups, and working with engineers to align on the user journey
- Research the larger developer tooling and platform engineering market to identify key opportunities for additional products, features, and/or partnerships
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working in the DevOps/Platform Engineering space, either as a vendor or as an industry practitioner
- 2+ years of experience writing and designing software, including basic UI/UX design. We have developers and designers, but these foundational engineering skills make it easier to empathize with our customers and end-users
Bonus points:
- Formal Product Management experience
- Experience building and/or designing dev tools
Interview Process
We believe that the interview process should be consistent and enjoyable. We hope to get through the interview process in two to three weeks if schedules allow. During this time, you will be able to meet a mix of individual contributors, managers, and leadership. If this position requires a take-home assessment, we will compensate you for your work and time after completion.
