Today, 80% of them in the US are individually owned and operated and we want to keep it that way. We provide our entrepreneurs the tools and expertise to operate with the scale of a large chain while remaining independent.

This role as first Senior Product Manager

We’re hiring for our first senior product manager to drive both our software product and support our wider program across the business. We are on a path to helping hundreds of nurses become entrepreneurs this year – this is an environment with many opportunities to shape the direction of Moxie and the $20B medical aesthetics industry at large. You will report to our Head of Product Jesse, work hand-in-hand with our engineering team, and partner closely with our customer facing teams and customers themselves. Your goal is to drive overwhelming value for our customers by:

  • Ensuring we’re shipping the right product, at the right time, to the right users
  • Owning our product’s core experiences end-to-end including features like our booking platform, communications tools, and checkout experience
  • Scoping, defining, and shipping innovative new features that will shape the future of our product and business

Our objectives for the role

In 30 days:

  • You’ve met 5+ customers and have a clear sense of the Medspa industry, the Moxie business, and key opportunities
  • You’ve become a key thought partner to our leadership team including head of product, engineering leaders, head of operations, head of partner success, designer, and CEO
  • You’ve driven clarity and decision making on multiple small-to-medium sized projects (e.g., you step in and make our already in-flight projects better)
  • You’ve taken ownership of at least one large transformative project (e.g, you have begun to drive the customer stories, plan, and initiate execution of a major feature initiative to improve the core experience)

In 90 days:

  • You own the wider product across our product’s core experiences and are seen as the “go to” expert internally
  • You are continuously driving customer feedback to the team and product
  • You’ve shipped multiple larger features
  • You’ve made us uplevel how we work, and it shows

In 1 year:

  • Your product leadership has been directly responsible for compounding business growth for our customers (and Moxie) with features that empower more customers to start, run, and grow their businesses fast and effectively 
  • You are the established leader of a high performing product team and have established the operational infrastructure at Moxie to enable massive scale

We’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience as a product manager delivering outstanding outcomes for your customer
  • Experience in a startup environment moving with purposeful urgency - you drive clarity, reduce ambiguity, and relentlessly unblock next steps
  • Experience with B2B, SMBs, aesthetics, and/or beauty are pluses but not required
  • Experience with financial transactions and payments systems a plus but not required
  • Experience with legal complexity and compliance a plus but not required
