The Role

Senior Product Manager to lead AI-focused projects, working remotely with clients and teams to deliver innovative solutions. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strategic thinking, and strong project management skills.

In the role you will...
  • Project Initiation and Alignment:
  1. Lead the initial project phase by conducting workshops to align on expectations, define project scope, and establish a product roadmap.
  2. Develop and communicate a clear product vision and mission, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project objectives.
  • Product Management and Delivery:
  1. Break down the product roadmap into detailed epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
  2. Onboard the development team, providing clear guidance on project goals and expected outcomes.
  3. Continuously monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  1. Work closely with UX/UI designers to refine user journeys and optimize the user experience.
  2. Collaborate with engineering managers and technical teams to integrate solutions, leveraging technical expertise to guide the development process.
  3. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to problem-solving.
  • Client Interaction and Stakeholder Management:
  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring clarity on project goals and deliverables.
  2. Develop and present project proposals, leveraging a strong understanding of AI technologies to articulate potential solutions.
  3. Regularly update clients on project status, manage scope changes, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Methodologies and Continuous Improvement:
  1. Implement and adapt agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) as appropriate to manage project workflows and team dynamics.
  2. Gather and analyze feedback from clients and end-users to inform ongoing improvements and refinements to the product.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
  1. While there are no direct reports, provide mentorship to mid-level and junior product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  2. Advocate for product management best practices within the organization, enhancing the overall understanding and appreciation of the product function.
  • Workshops and Facilitation:
  1. Facilitate workshops at key project stages to gather requirements, refine scope, and align team efforts.
  2. Utilize various frameworks and tools to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and consensus-building.
Your profile
  • 7+ years experience in product management, preferably within consultancy or agency environments with a focus on AI projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of AI technologies, including familiarity with large language models (LLMs).
  • Proven track record in client management and project delivery, with the ability to develop and present compelling project proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business solutions.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and a flexible approach to managing project workflows.
  • An innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong focus on solving business problems through creative solutions.
