Senior Product Manager
Updater, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our MoveHQ team and play a critical role in driving the success of our product initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of product operations, a hands-on approach to managing the entire product lifecycle, and a strong foundation in Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in working within regulated industries, ensuring our products meet compliance standards while delivering exceptional value to our users. Reporting to our Director of Product, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life and refine processes to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Product Operations: Work closely with the Director of Product and other PMs to optimize product operations to improve efficiency, transparency, and outcomes across the product lifecycle.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Agile Leadership: Drive Scrum processes, facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and use Jira to manage and track progress effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable product plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for product updates, roadmaps, and priorities, providing clear and concise communication to stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use analytics to inform decisions, continuously refining and improving product offerings.
- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscapes, identifying opportunities to innovate and differentiate our offerings.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work in a highly regulated environment ensuring compliance with security and external stakeholder requirements.
Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years in Product Management roles with a proven track record of success in regulated industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira; familiarity with Agile principles.
- Operational Expertise: Deep understanding of product operations and the ability to improve processes for better outcomes.
- Lifecycle Mastery: Hands-on experience managing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery and ongoing iteration.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on product strategy and execution.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex product strategies to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
This posting is anticipated to remain open until January 27, 2025. The new hire salary range for this position is $120,000to $172,000 annually. Factors which may affect the starting pay within this range include skills, experience, and other qualifications aligned with Updater's internal leveling guidelines.
