About you

VSCO is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is curious and quick to learn, dedicated to enhancing the community experience on our mobile app and website. We're searching for someone who is passionate about making VSCO the ultimate home for photographers by bringing entrepreneurial spirit, problem-solving skills, and authenticity to the role every day. As a member of our Product Management team, you'll play a key role in understanding photographers' needs and aspirations, developing creative solutions, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams to bring our vision to life.

This role involves combining forward-thinking strategy with creative, user-centered feature development, with a focus on facilitating connections, inspiration, and learning among photographers.

The day-to-day

  • Set the strategic direction and roadmap for our community product offerings to serve photographers and drive long-term growth.
  • Oversee the definition and delivery of product features to ensure successful outcomes for users and the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and test hypotheses.
  • Define a long-term vision for VSCO's community offerings, incorporating customer feedback and industry best practices.
  • Guide and facilitate communication across teams.
  • Utilize data, research, and industry insights to inform decision-making.
  • Regularly engage with users to gather feedback and insights.
  • Ensure cohesion across the VSCO experience through collaboration with other leaders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a full-time Product Manager, preferably with community or collaboration-driven products.
  • A track record of shipping high-quality software products that made a difference for customers and drove business growth.
  • Ability to set strategic direction and launch new products and experiences.
  • Consistent use of quantitative and qualitative data in decision-making, along with experience with analytics and research tools and methods.
  • Understanding of UX/UI best practices, effective communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teammates.
  • Strong prioritization skills and experience making tough but smart trade-offs.
  • Ability to thrive in agile, iterative, and fast-paced startup environments.

Compensation

The base salary for this position may vary based on several factors, including the approved job level. The base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $191,500. Salary is one component of our total compensation package. This position also qualifies for equity (i.e. stock options) and is eligible for discretionary bonuses based on performance. The benefits available for this position include flexible time off, a 401K retirement plan, insurance (medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, short and long term disability), and 11 paid holidays. We also provide paid sick time as required by state and local law. Additional benefits and perks contained in our standard employee benefits package are also offered for this position.
