Senior Product Manager, Data Platform
Alma is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will understand and prioritize problems within our data ecosystem. You will work with a team of data engineers to help democratize data within the organization. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their data needs and help create a roadmap for the data platform team to execute on those needs.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to create a roadmap for the data platform team
- Prioritize ad hoc requests from across the organization
- Lead the data platform team in weekly sprint planning and quarterly cross-functional planning
- Identify key metrics for success of data projects
- Partner with and mentor Product Analysts on how to structure their data exploration projects to deliver impactful insights to other Product teams.
Who you are:
- You have at least 4 years of product management experience, specifically with data products or platforms
- You have a strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and data modeling
- You have excellent communication skills and can effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You have experience partnering closely with or managing product analysts
- You are passionate about democratizing data and enabling others to make data-driven decisions
- You have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

Salary Band: $145,000 - $170,000
