Senior Product Manager, Ecommerce

The Senior Product Manager, Ecommerce will serve as the point person for the e-commerce team. They will collaborate with design and tech as well as the full organization to ensure that the product strategy aligns to both long and short term company goals. S/He must be an excellent communicator, fearless organizer, and curious problem solver. The ability to simultaneously prioritize and track day-to-day activities without losing sight of the big-picture issues is essential for success. The Senior Product Manager has a highly visible role and must be equally effective in communicating with team members, stakeholders, and executive team members. In addition to product strategy and execution, the SPM has a critical role in on-going improvement to Eargo’s product thinking.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Build a vision and strategy for the e-commerce platform breaking the traditional stereotypes of the industry with focus on both pre and post purchase experiences
- Act as the key authority and point of contact for their product area
- Responsible for driving the direction and strategy of Ecomm product team
- Responsible for creating a roadmap and backlog for the Ecomm product team
- Drive decision making based on ROI for company metrics and customer experience based on qualitative and quantitative data
- Advocate for iterative and agile product development
- Advocate for creating delightful customer experiences
- Work closely with rest of the e-commerce team and main stakeholders to set priorities, scope work, and create a roadmap for the larger team
- Collaborate across the org with CX, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Mobile App teams to build a roadmap that takes into account capacity, trade-offs, and risks
- Build strong interdepartmental relationships focusing on collaboration and communication
- Drive product thinking and customer centricity as key to all decision making
- Perform competitive analysis and user research
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product management experience in a product development environment
- Strong curious problem solver with a bias for action
- Experience working in Agile product teams preferred
- E-commerce and/or healthcare/medical device product development experience preferred
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams is strongly preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Some travel is required
$140,000 - $165,000 a year
The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is listed above. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Eargo's compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Eargo utilizes the full width of the range.
