The Opportunity 

At Beyond Identity, Growth is a unique team whose mandate is to drive experimental success toward revenue growth while modeling best practices in product-led thinking and execution across the organization. We strive to understand our prospects and customers so we can best meet their needs and expectations for the products and features we deliver – and then deliver these features in a way that drives viral growth. We lead projects across engineering, analytics, and marketing. In any given week, we are running new tests, doing user research, working with engineering to automate new growth motions, and analyzing data and insights from go-to-market teams to uncover new opportunities.

The Growth team is the tip of the spear of PLG at Beyond Identity. On this team, you will deliver new products, sidecars and features to help our target users and customers overcome awareness gaps and friction so they can derive more value more quickly from Beyond Identity. You will align with marketing and sales teams on key customer milestones and experiences across channels, and create a roadmap for seamlessly engaging customers in these experiences based on where they are in their journey and how they can serve as a node in viral / referral growth loops.

In this role, you will own strategic growth bets. You will lead strategically important projects in acquisition and new customer deployment, including growth for critical products and new product launches. This role sits on a highly cross-functional team – we are building a lean and agile team with PM, data, UX design, marketing and engineering competencies. Together with the rest of this “special forces” team, you will drive some of the largest bets at the company. If in NYC, you will be expected to be in office Tues-Thurs unless traveling. If remote, you’ll be expected to travel to the NYC office on a reasonable basis to brainstorm with the rest of the team and participate in building a cohesive agile team.

What You Can Expect To Do:

  • You will build a deep understanding of our customers across different products, synthesizing research, data, and experiments to outline different awareness gaps and frictions they face
  • You will think holistically across the end-to-end journey of buyer and user personas with Beyond Identity and develop an opinionated strategy and roadmap for when and how we should engage customers across different automated and human-assisted channels (product features, sales, support, etc) to successfully address awareness / education gaps and friction points in the most effective way
  • You will work with engineering as well as marketing and sales to execute on a roadmap that ultimately drives revenue outcomes for Beyond Identity across self-serve and sales channels
  • You will engage with security, identity and IT leaders as well as end users in our prospects’/customers’ orgs to understand market trends, pain points, detailed requirements, architectural capabilities and constraints, and use cases

What We Hope You’ll Bring:

  • 5-8 years of industry experience with some of this time in cybersecurity, endpoint management, secure access and/or identity management
  • 5+ years of B2B software product management experience
  • Ability to synthesize different perspectives and make recommendations and decisions with incomplete information and ambiguity
  • Has experience at and thrive in a startup or early-stage environment
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically with structure; proven ability to define and translate a vision into detailed and actionable plans
  • Creativity, agility and speed: you will constantly work on new ideas that you will pivot when things don’t work and scale with speed when they do
  • Team player & strong collaborator who proactively engages stakeholders for input, validation and building consensus
  • Comfort presenting to executive, sales and technical audiences

A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. The salary range may differ in other states.
