Senior Product Manager - Search & Personalization

THE TEAM
You’ll be joining a global team of experienced and talented Product Managers, Engineers and Designers who are focused on building a product that empowers and enables customers to participate in great live experiences. We are passionate about live events, motivated, collaborative, and a fun-loving team responsible for a high-growth, global business.
THE ROLE
We aspire to be your go-to app to discover and engage with live experiences and the people connecting through them. How we surface and recommend live experiences to users is a critical component of delivering on our vision and the secret sauce for why people come back to Eventbrite over and over again. With the largest event inventory on the planet, and millions of consumers using the platform to discover things to do each month, our ability to connect the two is challenging and critical. You’ll be responsible for the relevance models (machine learning, search ranking, personalization, recommendations, etc) that ensure the right content is surfaced to the right consumer across their discovery journey.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying key opportunities, creating a compelling vision for your product area and, defining a strategy and leading a team to ship high quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, engineers, data scientists and designers within and across Eventbrite. YOU WILL
- Define a vision, set OKRs and drive product development with a world-class team of Engineers, Designers and Data Scientists to deliver impact.
- Lead the ideation, research, definition, development, and launch of user-centric Machine Learning (ML) products
- Understand user needs; identify and define product requirements
- Use data (qual and quant) to inform your strategy and success criteria
- Collaborate across the organization to find opportunities for step change impact
THE SKILLSET
- 4-7 years of product management experience with 3 years focused on Data Science and/or Machine Learning products
- Self-starter with proven track record of execution and results
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team
- Data-driven, analytical problem solver
- User-first mindset with experience in user research and testing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Passion for live events, frequently attending events and buying tickets online

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Eventbrite, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below. You may also be eligible to participate in Eventbrite’s incentive program(s) (such as equity, annual incentive bonus and commission plans), subject to the applicable rules and restrictions.
