About the role

As part of the Product Management organization, you will be the sole Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to spearhead all GTM (Go-to-Market) activities, create marketing collateral to support the GTM team, and lead product growth. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will partner with Sales, Product, Business Leaders, and cross-functional teams to lead GTM for high-profile product releases, including Crux Forge and the External Data Platform. Our target personas include Chief Data Officers, Data Operations, Data Engineering, Data Analysis, Market Data, and Front Office at medium to large enterprises. You will utilize your modern data management knowledge to discover customer and market insights to create product messaging and positioning, GTM strategies, and market-facing collateral to drive demand generation and product growth. You will help strengthen the Crux brand and cultivate relationships with our customers, partners, and prospects. Over time, with your help, we hope to grow the team into a full-fledged product marketing organization.

Proven expertise in external data integration, data management, and SaaS, as well as startup experience, are mandatory for this role. If you love data, sales enablement, and growth and are ready to help the world forget about data complexities, we want to talk to you.

This role is 100% remote, based in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the go-to-market strategy and lead the cross-functional implementation of the GTM plan with the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams for launching new products and services.

Build Sales and Marketing collateral, including differentiated messaging, positioning, customer presentations and pitch decks, data sheets, solution overviews, documentation, training, and more.

Develop GTM campaigns by defining target audiences and building marketing content – blogs, webinars, events, emails, website articles, release notes, and other collateral to support the GTM team.

Organize and maintain market research, customer, competitor, and segment analysis, and develop materials to educate the entire company based on your findings.

Create PR and marketing materials to drive global awareness and generate demand.

Provide reports and insights on growth campaign effectiveness and market trends to the Executive Team.

This is a public-facing role where you will promote and champion Crux products and services adoption.

Some travel may be required for customer visits and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of the external data ecosystem and data management competitive landscape.5+ years of product marketing experience at a SaaS technology company.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills that you harness to reach and engage with your audience regardless of medium.

A proven track record of articulating value propositions to deeply technical and non-technical audiences.

A strong combination of technical and business skills to enable you to confidently engage across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams.

Knowledge of Enterprise customer lifecycle from acquisition to expansion to shape product interest, evaluation, purchase, engagement, and growth.

Ability to work independently with minimal direction to produce meaningful outcomes quickly and efficiently.

Provide samples of public-facing technical content (video/written publications) as part of your application.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in or with the financial industries.

Familiarity with AI and data science tools and practices.

Startup experience, especially in the data management sector.

Ability to adapt to change, continuously learn, and be passionate about developing new digital products.

MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.

$165,000 - $195,000 a year
