We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager who will be an individual contributor on the Product Marketing team. In this role you will define product positioning, value propositions, pricing and packing for new and existing products in close collaboration with cross-functional partners. The role includes creating sales facing content, understanding market and competitive dynamics, and working to ensure our external facing teams have the resources needed to succeed.

You will bring deep expertise in go to market (GTM) strategy and execution, product marketing best practices, and a track record of effectively owning and driving cross-functional projects to success. You should be skilled at collaborating and communicating with clients and senior internal stakeholders.

Day in the Life

  • Work closely with the product team to understand our roadmap and upcoming releases to craft effective GTM plans that include positioning, pricing, packaging and supporting materials
  • Partner with sales and customer support teams to refine positioning, packaging and pricing based on feedback and voice of customer
  • Conduct market and competitive research to effectively differentiate Degreed’s solutions and provide objection handling
  • Create content for support and enablement assets, including slides, one-sheets, FAQs, internal and external trainings and other materials
  • Collaborate across marketing to assist with inputs for marketing campaigns, events and brand asset creation
  • Identify and tackle opportunities for process improvement to increase speed, efficiency and impact
  • Tailor GTM plans for specific regions, market segments, personas and industries

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of proven experience in B2B SaaS product marketing for a multiproduct portfolio
  • Strong expertise in pricing and packaging strategies for B2B SaaS solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Track record of successful cross-functional project management
  • Experience working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Comfort and proficiency working remotely
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Self motivated with a bias for action
  • Deep sense of ownership and accountability
  • Data driven and comfortable influencing decisions using quantitative and qualitative inputs

Compensation and Benefits at Degreed

Degreed is passionate about pay transparency and we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Degreed is a remote-first company, however our roles are open to in-office or hybrid if you live in a city with a physical office location. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US and International colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
