Senior Project Finance Manager
Job description
- Your mission at Climeworks is to diversify sources of capital and to raise significant amounts in asset level financing.
- You coordinate and draft investment proposals for Climeworks’ assets.
- You are responsible for the necessary due diligence, financial modelling, risk analysis and mitigation in the structuring of loans, equity investments and guarantees.
- You structure the investment, co-lead all negotiations from initial contact, to signing a terms sheet and closing the transaction.
- You are responsible for the reporting after investment.
Job requirements
- You have completed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, economics or any related/quantitative discipline.
- You have more than 7 years of work experience in corporate finance, with minimum 3 years of project finance experience.
- You bring a network of contacts in EU institutions or other relevant providers of funding in Europe or the US.
- You have a deep knowledge of corporate finance, project management and have already closed project finance transactions.
- You bring strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and willingness to work against clear and quantifiable targets.
- You are living in Texas, New York, Washington D.C or are willing to relocate there.
- You are business fluent in English.

The salary range has been set by factors such as function, career level, and location and therefore may vary. The US base salary for this full-time position is typically $120,000-$170,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We use the recruitment process to determine your career level, job-related skills, and depth of experience to make an informed and fair salary offer.
