We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our growing team as we continue to improve our operations and expand. The ideal candidate will have ASC 606 experience, strong accounting skills, and preferably worked in a SaaS environment. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant. This role is for someone who is business savvy, process-driven, and has a strong operational foundation.   

How you'll add value:

  • Primarily responsible for all aspects of revenue, including understanding R365 product offerings, accounting for under ASC 606, planning and forecasting, policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile all Revenue accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, assist in developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and preparing roll-forward schedules that are supported by underlying documentation.
  • Shared completion of full cycle general ledger close process and related activities to ensure complete and accurate financials in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including performing/reviewing close activities such as journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations within the established close timeline.[MS1] 
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Partner closely with the finance team around monthly variance analysis, quarterly board reporting, and support the updating of operating budgets.
  • Effectively partner with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, drive process improvements, and implement best practices.
  • Proactively identify issues and areas for improvement while helping to establish and maintain policies and procedures and assist in special projects, system enhancements or ad hoc analyses, and others as appropriate.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Public or recent IPO software company.
  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects while meeting set deadlines of team deliverables.
  • Motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, forward-moving environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a great attention to detail including maintaining extensive support files.
  • Advanced Excel skills, Salesforce.com, Workiva/Blackline or similar implementation/practical use, and experience using a large-scale ERP is preferable.

  • This position has a salary range of $90K-$120K. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
